Odesk already offers Local Funds Transfer for Filipino providers like us. Recently ko lang ito nadiscover while I was browsing sa community forum ng odesk. It was implemented december last year and it is still on beta launch.
Odesk collects $1.99 fee for the local fund transfer and the usual remittance fee from our local bank. For bpi it's for free, P200 for bdo, 50 for Unionbank and Landbank etc. Note BPI lang free ang remittance fee, not for BPI family saving banks, magkaiba kasi sila. I have read some of the comments ng mga providers na nakapgtransfer na from odesk to local bank and they were successful naman.
Odesk waives the fee for first time transfer so there's nothing to lose if you want to try it. I have applied for a bpi acct na para mas tipid kasi wala ng remittance fee, what I have right now is bdo kc and ang mahal ng remittance fee which is 200.
So we have one great option here in withdrawing our earnings from odesk. No need for a paypal account and a tedious verification process, just add your local bank account directly to you odesk acct.

Thanks Newbie po ako sa Odesk actually ngayon lang po ako naging active, pero matagal na din akong member since last year 2010...nakapag withdraw na din po ako sa BDO mahal nga lang po kasi 200 ung bawas plus $1.99 sa oDesk, ask ko lang kung magaaply po ba ko ng account sa Landbank mas maganda po ba? mas mababa po ata dun sabi mo mga php 50.00 lang...please guide naman po....thanks..

I suggest na mag BPI ka na lang ung walang maintaining balance.
